Youth Summer Reading 2026

Summer Reading Kick Off: 06/06/2026, Summer Reading End Celebration: 08/01/2026 
Youth ages 0-11-Kids read books to win great prizes all summer long. Create an account on pontiac.beanstack.org or sign in if you have one already. 
Rules:
1. During Summer Reading (June 6 – August 1), read up to three books you have not read before. The books can be graphic novels or chapter books for kids (aged 7-11). Books can be read with a parent (ages 0-6), but then you need to read five books. 
2. Log your books on your list (given at registration June 6 or from Librarian Kellie). Turn it in to the librarian for a prize (snacks or small rewards) plus an entry for a bigger prize!
3. You will get one raffle ticket per 3 books you have read (no limit!). You can also earn tickets by visiting the library, attending an event, or participating in a program. Be sure to get your ticket from the librarian!
4. At our Summer Reading End Celebration on August 1st, you will participate in a kids’ raffle drawing. One raffle ticket will be pulled to win the grand prize: a $50 Meijer gift card. 
5. You must be present during the raffle to win. The raffle will take place at 2pm.
6. Eligible participants must have a library card or be able to get one on the day of the raffle (August 1).
