Free Haircuts for Youth and Teens @ Your Library

Mondays, beginning on May 8th, unless we are closed, Michigan Room: Hair-cutting professionals bring their years of experience to your library to offer free haircuts to youth and teens of ages 4 through 17. Tell your friends and family about it!

Spring into your Wednesday Night Free Youth Art Camp

Wednesdays, May through August, 5:30-7pm, Youth Room: Come to our library to participate in our arts program. The classes are for grades K-5.
Every first Wednesday: Do-It-Yourself Activities (Instructional guidance)
Every second and fourth Wednesday: Painting with style with Artist Tiffany
Every third Wednesday: Sounds of music for beginners (7 and up): Learn how to play the recorder (Instructional guidance).
Every third Wednesday: Spanish Sing Along
Every fourth Wednesday: Creative Chefs: Learn how to make cool items with Chef Fox. No-bake cooking!

Foster Grandparents Summer Story and Craft

Mondays between June 26 & August 14, 12:30pm: The foster grandparents are back this summer to lead us in a weekly story time and craft. This educational program is perfect for kids between the ages of 4 and 10. We will have free summer lunches available through Meet Up and Eat Up, so don’t worry about missing out on lunch time.


Free After School Tutoring

Available for Grades K-12, Teen Zone: Sign up for a free one-on-one tutoring session at the Pontiac Public Library. This program is possible thanks to a partnership with Eton Academy. Registration is required and there are a limited number of tutors available. Sessions are for 30 minute intervals.
