Proctoring Services Guidelines

Effective January 1st 2024, the Pontiac Public Library will be charging $10.00 for proctoring. Please contact the technology and adult services librarian at stsompanakis@pontiaclibrary.org to check for room availability and submit exam information. The payment is due the day of the exam, prior to its start time.

Notary Services

Effective November 1st 2023, the following changes will apply to our notary services:

Mon – Thurs: 10:30am – 5pm and Fri – Sat: 10:30am 4:30pm

Pontiac Cardholders:
$5 per stamp up to 5 pages
Everyone else:
$10 per stamp up to 2 pages
 
Do not sign the document until you are in front of the notary. Things we will not notarize include: Vital Records, PPO, Wills, and Powers of Attorney. It is up to the notary’s discretion whether we will notarize the document. Everyone signing the document must show up in front of the notary with a valid ID (not expired/void and must be the physical ID).
